Drawing on this expertise, the company has created a versatile, high-performance cartridge for the AT-LP70X turntable, offering performance that other turntables in this class cannot match.

Integrated into the J-shaped tonearm, the AT-VM95C cartridge with a 0.6 conical stylus provides excellent channel separation and low distortion, resulting in outstanding tonal quality. Furthermore, the stylus can be easily upgraded with any of the other styli (elliptical, microlinear, or Shibata) in the VM95 Series, allowing for customization that is typically only possible on turntables with a detachable headshell and cartridge.

The AT-LP70X is designed for easy use, playing both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. With its built-in switchable phono preamp, the turntable can be connected directly to a home stereo, powered speakers, computer, and other components, regardless of whether they have a dedicated phono input or not.

To ensure a solid foundation and minimize unwanted noise for improved sound quality, the three-piece, anti-resonance chassis is engineered to provide a stable platform. Additionally, the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis further reduces noise in the signal chain.

The AT-LP70X's fully automatic belt-drive turntable operation offers two speeds: 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. The J-shaped tonearm is designed to minimize tracking errors, and the tonearm lock reduces the risk of stylus damage.
